Loaded Game Awards 2025

From massive releases to unforgettable moments, 2025 gave us plenty to argue about, celebrate, and obsess over. And once again, the Loaded community showed up in a big way.

Your voices were heard loud and clear. We closed out our 2025 awards at the end of December. Thanks to our amazing community, we had our biggest voting session yet with over 100,000 votes across all categories.

This year’s awards featured 10 community-voted categories, the Loaded Recognition Award, and four brand new data-led awards powered by real customer purchase behaviour. Because opinions matter, but so does how people actually play.

The Biggest Winner

Clair Obscur took home not one, not two, but four awards, including the highly coveted Game of the Year 2025. Personally, not surprised. I still have not stopped listening to the soundtrack since I played the game.

We were also proud to honour the Skyblivion team with the official Loaded Recognition Award for 2025. Their work is deeply rooted in community, celebrating the connections we build and the memories we create through gaming. This reflects exactly what we at Loaded strive for.

Not Just Opinions, Receipts Too

This time around, we wanted the awards to reflect real player behaviour, not just opinions. That’s why we introduced new data-led categories based on how our customers actually engage with games.

Hardcore Gamers’ Choice

We analysed our data to find the most purchased games by the top percentage of our customers. Those same players were then personally invited to vote for their favourite title in the category.

Best Deal in 2025

This category was based on the biggest price drop in 2025 that was followed by a strong spike in sales, regardless of the game’s release date.

Best Bang for Your Buck

Focused on games that delivered the best value for money, with playtime being a major factor.

Most Addictive

Awarded to the games players simply could not put down.
